Scubar Santa Ponsa

Welcome to the Scubar

The Scubar opened for the first time on october 3rd 2014. The place used to be known under the names of "Casa de Agatha", "Café Katzenberger" or "Sirocco".

The new owners Dominique and Oliver wanted to create a bar dedicated to the sea and all kind of nautic activities. That's why they chose the name "Scubar" derivated from "SCUBA" (self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, the breathing machine used by divers) - and "BAR". To underline the maritime theme, surfboards are transformed into tables and fishnets are decorating the walls and the terrace.

The Scubar is situated next to the small beach of Santa Ponsa and near the club nautico (Marina). Beneath the direct sea-view from the large terrace, the easy parking facilities as well as the children playground just above the street, the Scubar offers a large games- and partyroom in the basement. You can play kicker or pool-billard or you can celebrate private events like birthdays or weddings.

Other facilities to the customers are: free wifi, dogs are very welcome as well on the terrace then inside the bar, table reservations can be made and payments are accepted in euro, pounds or by credit card.

The Scubar sells all kind of drinks from coffee to soft-drinks, from wines to champagnes, from longdrinks to cocktails and beneath some wonderful shishas. For hungry visitors the food menu offers hot-dogs, paninis, salads, pasta, pizza, nachos, sausages and different sandwiches. For the hot summer days you can get all kind of ice-creams and milkshakes. All food and drinks are available for take-away to the beach, your appartment or your hotel.

The Scubar is a very international bar. Four languages are currently spoken by the staff. We welcome our clients in spanish, english, german or french.
